Welcome to our blog!! We have decided to create a blog to keep all our amazing family and friends updated on our adventures and how God is working in our lives. Life gets crazy, busy, and goes by so fast! We hope this will give you a glimpse of what is going on in our lives.
We are married!! Praise the Lord. We would first like to thank our INCREDIBLE family and friends for everything. We had such a wonderful, fun wedding, and we are so grateful for everything our families did to make it such a memorable time, along with the many people who contributed. As we begin our marriage and lives together, we are so thankful for the many people who have unconditionally loved and supported us, as well as give us a vision and better understanding of what a God-centered marriage looks like. It's only been a week, but we are loving being married so far!!!!

Tuesday afternoon we headed to the Oregon Coast for a few days to spend together. What an incredible opportunity. The week was amazing. full of relaxing, laughter, great food, fun times, beautiful weather, and fun adventures! The Oregon Coast is absolutely beautiful. It was so nice for us to relax after all the chaos and business the past few weeks. We stayed in a vacation rental in Lincoln City, right on the beach. It was a peaceful place, perfect to spend the week together.
We explored Lincoln City, Depot Bay, and Newport. Some of our highlights were making meals together (we only went out twice), reading together, going whale watching (and seeing 3 grey whales!), finding a cool little bookshop in town (more of a highlight for Jordan ;)), exploring, taking nice walks on the beach, visiting the Tillamook Cheese Factory, and just being together. The entire week was so wonderful and just amazing to spend time together, relax, and have no agenda. Every day was a new adventure and it was fun learning new things about each other every day. We pray this never ends!
ALASKA~

It was a very quick turn-around from returning from our Honeymoon Sunday night and leaving early in the morning Monday to move up to Alaska for the summer. Just enough time to see our friends at Life Church, celebrate Dad's birthday, and see a few close friends. Oh yeah, and unpack and pack everything up for Alaska! Needless to say, we didn't sleep much Sunday :) We headed to Alaska where we will both be working at Jimmie Jack's Fishing Lodge in Kenai, Alaska. Jacob is a fishing guide and I will be working in the lodge doing various tasks and be the main boat washer. We were greeted Monday by warm smiles and welcoming hearts of some amazing people. We are apart of a great team here! So blessed by the people and opportunities we will have together here in Kenai.
So far life seems so simple. A lot of the distractions, activities, and business don't exist in the small town of Kenai! Which has been so wonderful and peaceful. We are looking forward to just being together this summer. This is a very brief overview, but more updates and details to come! We love you all so much and appreciate all your support and prayers on our new journey together!!
